The Lead University Project was innovative in that it sought a fusion of two concepts: to offer the latest technologies to the user and provide spaces influenced by the latest educational trends. To this end the site, within a commercial center, was modified.
The Project was divided into two stages. The first stage was 1,637,m2 and houses the lobby, the administration area and, most importantly, 4 classrooms suitable for 35 students each and a larger space for up to 70 students. Both the lobby and the classroom area have their own restrooms.
The second stage, 672,m2, houses the library, warm-up room, recreation area, exercise area , restrooms and showers for students and the lecture hall The spaces are interconnected by a central area or ‘agora’ with very flexible furnishings that can be used to create different environments for different academic or recreational activities.
